The Summer Capital of the Philippines: Baguio City

 

  Feeling  stress? Do you want to unwind yourself from a long and devastating day in the office works? Well, Baguio City can solve that problem of yours. Baguio City is known as the summer capital of the Philippines because during summer vacation many people go here to make themselves unwind, from its cold weather that makes them feel so relieved or make them free from any stress. It is true that Baguio City is one of the most visited tourist spot in the Philippines because it has a good environment that attracts the people most. Not only the Filipino loves to go here and have their vacation, also foreigners love to visit Baguio during their time here in the Philippines. Baguio also known for its zigzag shape road.



      Baguio is located in northern Luzon part of the Philippines. There are two ways to go here in Baguio , first is via Kennon Road then the Marcos Road. Some says that Marcos Road is much better than the Kennon Road. But some also says that Kennon Road is much better because it is the shortest way to or route to Baguio and in this way  you can see the big Lion's Head made up 


    I remember then, back when I was still a first year high school, I experienced my first time in Baguio. At first, of course I feel so nervous because there are some sayings that going to Baguio is somewhat dangerous because it is near in the abyys but then I was so excited to feel and experienced the zigzag road. WOW! it is the first word I said when we're already in Baguio. Its surroundings were so beautiful, that it feels like your in heaven, walking in the aisle of beautiful flowers. 



  My experienced here in Baguio was unforgettable. I feel like a bird that was free flying in the air. 
  There are a lot of places you can visit in Baguio such as the Mines View Park and the Burnham park which truly  gives you a refreshing feeling and also a very good place where you can think clearly and where you can unwind yourself including your mind, body and soul. In Burnham park, you can ride on a boat and feel the ambiance of Baguio in the middle of the lake. In Mines View Park, you can see totally the beautiful of Baguio because you are in a highest place and also you can take a picture here wearing  clothes of aeta as a remembrance that you once visited the Baguio City.
In Mines View Park, here you can also buy stuff or a handy made products exclusively made from Baguio like clothes, keychains, bags  to serve as a remembrance or souvenir. You can also buy here a pasalubong like strawberry jam, peanut brittle and many more.


Don't waste your time.Come now and visit the summer capital of the Philippines and its time to discover the beauty of Baguio.

  1. What's that abyss mean? Anyway, Baguio is really one of my favorite places here in the Philippines and I really love to back there again! I love their products like peanut brittle, strawberries and key chains, best pasalubong ever.. :D

    -- Just read this article. Nice article about Baguio. I am from that place. But you should have done some research before posting. Natives of the Cordilleras, Baguio-Benguet for one, are called IGOROT(singular)/IGOROTS(plural) not Aetas. We are two different tribes. And if you have worn our native costume, good for you, as that is considered SACRED to a truly blooded IGOROT. Again, reiterating, we, the natives of Cordillera, are called IGOROT, not Aetas,
